Effective July 1, 2010, Food & Nutrition Services will be available to more households. In a positive step forward, the NC Division of Social Services (DSS) has decided to implement changes that will allow households with a gross income of 200% of the federal poverty level (rather than the current limit of 130% of the federal poverty level) to potentially qualify for benefits.
